The monastic centerThe Bodhicharya France organisation, which is under the spiritual authority of Venerable Ringu Tulku Rinpoche, has acquired a center in the Vosges (North-East of France) so that the development of the Dharma can take place in a quiet environment, in a place which makes it easier to practice meditation. This center is the main seat of Ringu Rinpoche’s activity for the whole France.
The center is supervised by Lama Tsultrim Gelek who himself lives there. Every monk, nun or lai person who wishes to live in a Dharma center for a long period or for a shorter one is welcome. The center can welcome up to 50 persons who can participate to the week-ends of Dharma study and practice, to the retreats and to the teachings which are regularly organised. The center also receives the visit of Tibetan Masters (Rinpoches) such as Ringu Rinpoche or Mogchok Rinpoche.
Although it is remote, the center is easily accessible. Indeed, it is located at 18 km only from the closest Rapid Train station, namely the station of Saint-Dié-Des-Vosges. It is also at one hour by car from Strasbourg, Nancy, Colmar, and one hour and a half from Mulhouse. The center is open to every person, buddhist or not, who wishes to make a retreat period in order to recharge herself spiritually.
There are meditation sessions every day except mondays in the morning, at noon and in the evening The current goals of the center are:
